Welcome to the Back Country We’re based in Aviemore in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. Back Country Biking is the first company in the UK to offer packrafting specific training and the first to offer skills training in Bikerafting as well as bikepacking.
Our speciality is multi day, self-supported trips. We also supply some of the harder to find and best quality biking and packrafting equipment through our on-line shop.
We’re both highly qualified outdoor professionals with many national governing body qualifications, including mountain bike leader, mountain leader, raft guide trip leader, white water rescue technician and BCU canoe and kayak coach. Not to mention 15 years worth of outdoor learning experience and many more on personal adventures. We hope to pass on our experience and knowledge to help you get the most from your adventures.
